Texas A&M graduate transfer DB Nick Harvey picks South Carolina over Auburn, Tennessee

Earlier this offseason, Texas A&M DB Nick Harvey announced he was leaving the Aggies’ program to pursue a graduate transfer opportunity.

From there, he set out on visits to Tennessee, Auburn and South Carolina, and on Wednesday afternoon, he made his final decision.

As you can see in the tweet below, Harvey chose to play the 2018 season with coach Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks:

Harvey was a 4-star corner in the class of 2014. He started all 12 games for the Aggies in 2016 before a knee injury kept him out for all of 2017.

Because he’s a graduate transfer, he’ll be eligible to play right away for the Gamecocks, giving them veteran experience in the secondary.
