WATCH: South Carolina plans to blackout Williams-Brice Stadium for Kentucky game

Just when you thought the Gamecocks’ home opener couldn’t get any bigger, South Carolina has announced the Kentucky game will be a blackout.

The game between the two SEC East rivals is set to kick off Sept. 16 at 7:30 pm ET on the SEC Network. Kentucky has won the last three games in the annual series but each victory came by single digits. The contest will be Kentucky’s first league game of the season, while South Carolina will be coming off a game at Missouri.
