College football fans react to Miami’s new alternate uniforms for 2022

The Miami Hurricanes have some new alternate uniforms for the 2022 college football season.
On Friday, UM unveiled “Miami Nights” alternate black uniforms. The uniform reveal video focuses on the bright neon lights seen in the 305. The Addidas uniforms feature “neon” jersey numbers and the “Miami Vice” font above the facemask.

The 2022 season is Miami’s first with Mario Cristobal as head coach. Earlier this year, Cristobal retired the school’s popular sideline prop, the turnover chain. The Hurricanes open the 2022 season against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 3.
UM opens with 4 out-of-conference games, including a trip to Texas A&M on Sept. 17, before getting into its ACC slate.
