Looking for new conference? Social media reacts to promotional tweet from Kansas

On the conference realignment rumor mill, there have been a wide variety of suggestions for what happens to the Big 12 and the eight remaining teams in the conference. Judging by a Friday night tweet, Kansas is actively promoting itself to other potentially interested conferences.
On social media, the tweet from the official Kansas athletics Twitter account was widely mocked for coming off as desperate, in addition to using Kansas City, Missouri, to help sell KU.
