Scott Frost throws his players under the bus after loss to Illinois

The Nebraska Cornhuskers fell to 1-3 on the season on Saturday, getting blown out by Illinois 41-23 in Lincoln.
This is a game many expected the Huskers to win, so frustrations were high after the loss, with many fans taking out their frustrations on coach Scott Frost.
After the game, Frost was none too happy with his players. Indeed, he seemed to throw them under the bus, saying he feels some of them felt last week’s win over Penn State was enough:
Nebraska coach Scott Frost: "I didn't really see this coming… I was embarrassed by our level of execution in all three phases.
"It was almost like our team thought, 'We won one game, we're good.'"

Obviously, it’s never good for a program to have its coach air grievances that publicly, but perhaps this can spur the Huskers moving forward.
Nebraska travels to Iowa next week, so more hard times could be coming.
