For the first time this season the 12th Man kickoff team has taken the field.
One of the more underrated traditions in the SEC, the 12th Man kickoff unit consists of players who were all walk-ons for the Aggies. And this time around, they did their assignment and then some.
The Aggies stopped McNeese short of the 20, prompting a huge reaction from all players on the field and the sidelines. Check it out below:

Texas A&M is doing exactly what it should be doing so far in this one. The Aggies lead McNeese 45-0 with just under 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter.
The Aggies defense has been especially impressive. McNeese has only been able to total 126 yards from scrimmage with just 5 first downs compared to Texas A&M’s 25. The Cowboys have totaled just 47 passing yards since the start of the game.
This is just what the doctor ordered after a backbreaking loss to Notre Dame to start the season last week. The Aggies got a bad outing from QB Conner Weigman, who bounced back on Saturday by throwing for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns on 11-14 passing. Weigman was taken out of the game for Marcus Reed just before the end of the 2nd quarter.
