Jimbo Fisher torched on social media after yet another lackluster effort from Texas A&M

Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M entered Saturday on a 6-game losing streak. Their opponent at Kyle Field was UMass, whose only win during the season was against FCS Stony Brook.
The Aggies’ bowl fate was sealed a week ago with a loss to Auburn. They’ll host LSU to wrap up 2022, and all signs point to a last-place finish in the SEC West as this will go down as one of the worst seasons in program history.
Before the Tigers, though, the Aggies had to do battle with the Minutemen. As bad as things have gone for Fisher’s team, they at least should have had an easy time against their opponents.
That wasn’t quite the case as the Aggies led by just 10-3 at halftime. While they eventually won 20-3, the fact that they struggled to put away a team of UMass’ caliber speaks volumes about the state of the program right now. And that meant another week of heat aimed toward their head coach:

This is a really bad look for Jimbo Fisher. If he keeps the A&M fanbase this apathetic for much longer, they might be willing to conjure up the funds for that buyout in the next year or two. They can’t afford to do it yet, though. https://t.co/5rn6bl04Re

If you asked an A&M fan this theoretical question on 12/3/2017, the day they hired Jimbo…
“Would Jimbo Fisher still have his job in 2022, if the stadium looks like this?
95% would’ve told you no.

Pretty obvious that Jimbo Fisher’s trying to get fired… i mean I would too if I could get $90 mil to not work

Jimbo Fisher is running one the least entertaining football programs I’ve ever seen.

If Jimbo Fisher keeps his job after this season I’m gone know something

I’m sick for coach Jimbo fisher that he’s inevitably gonna draw criticism for having a 13-3 lead against Umass at home mid 3Q. Lotta people forget that UConn, a bowl team only beat them 27-10, and aTm isn’t going bowling this year – so it’s really not a fair comparison to make.

Every time I get a little upset about MSU I remind myself we could have Ross Bjork and Jimbo Fisher then I sip my coffee and count my blessings.
