If the AAF is finished, Johnny Manziel will unfortunately once again find himself out of a job.

The quarterback for the Memphis Express left the Canadian Football League earlier this year after being banished from the league after failing to meet the requirements set upon him when he signed with the CFL. Following that news, Manziel was quickly picked up by the Memphis AAF franchise.

It didn’t take long for Manziel to flash his potential in his AAF debut.

Things were beginning to look up for Manziel until recently when Pro Football Talk reported on Tuesday that the Alliance of American Football League has suspended all football operations. Not a good sign for the league considering the speculation that the league could fold before making it to the end of its inaugural season.

“All AAF football operations will be suspended in the next few hours, per source with knowledge of situation. League is not folding, yet. But it’s heading that way,” Pro Football Talk tweeted out on Tuesday.

Following that news, Manziel issued a comment expressing his disappointment to hear the news.
