Myles Garrett was involved in a car accident Monday afternoon.

The Cleveland star avoided serious injury in the crash, which happened on his way home from the Browns’ practice facility.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time, per a report from Cleveland News 5.

Garrett’s injuries are described as “minor” and not “life threatening,” as are injuries that were sustained by an unidentified female passenger who was also in the car.

It certainly could have been worse, however.

Multiple reports indicate that the 2021 Porsche that Garrett was driving “flipped several times” before coming to a stop.

Garrett was taken by Cleveland with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft following a standout career at Texas A&M.

The 6-4, 272-pound defensive end piled up 140 tackles and 58.5 sacks in his first 5 season with the Browns.

He already has 3 sacks through 3 games to start his 2022 campaign.

In 3 seasons with the Aggies, Garrett piled up 141 tackles, 47 tackles for loss, and 31 sacks.
