Not taking no for an answer? Texas A&M ‘zeroed’ in on LSU DC Dave Aranda

It looks like the Aggies are intent on making another push to lure DC Dave Aranda away from the LSU Tigers.
It was reported just a few short days again that Aranda was turning down the DC position at Texas A&M. While it appears that initial report was accurate, A&M looks to be gearing up to make another job offer.
Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle shared the report on Twitter that A&M is ‘zeroed in’ on Aranda and has been since early on in its search.
Just like the A&M coaching search zeroed in on one guy as its target in Jimbo Fisher, every indication I’ve received A&M has been zeroed in on one guy at defensive coordinator since early on: LSU’s Dave Aranda. I expect this to happen.

While this report continues to circulate, others began speculating about just how costly this could be for A&M to hire Aranda. It is also possible that LSU may have to turn around and offer a raise to Aranda in order to keep him:
A&M’s second run at #LSU DC Dave Aranda is a hard one. And when I mean hard, I mean green and lots of it.

I'm pretty sure #LSU was going to be paying DC Dave Aranda $2M+ after Jimbo Fisher's first run at him. Aranda might end up making close to a million more a year than any other DC by the time these two schools are thru with this one battle.
