No longer a Nike-sponsored program, Arizona State will debut its new Adidas uniform in the 2015 season opener against Texas A&M at NRG Stadium in Houston.

The Sun Devils’ familiar maroon and gold set will receive and all-black and all-white combination upgrade as well along with three different helmet styles.

Arizona State has decided to retain its primary pitchfork logo and custom wordmarks adopted in 2011.

“Our partnership with Adidas and the uniforms they created for our program are game changers for Sun Devil Football and Arizona State,” Arizona State head football coach Todd Graham said in a press release. “We pride ourselves on our speed and intensity on the field, and the technology behind these uniforms will allow us to maximize these strengths.”

According to Adidas, Arizona State’s new threats are made “with a cutting-edge, proprietary yarn blend that increases durability and abrasion resistance, Primeknit is the premier compression uniform system, featuring the latest generation of adidas TECHFIT technology.”

The best part of the Sun Devils’ updated look? Their game pants featuring an oversized team graphic.
