PHOTOS: Texas A&M unveils new adidas throwback uniforms for Kentucky game

The Texas A&M Aggies are ranked No. 22 for the first time all season under new head coach Jimbo Fisher, and on Monday, the Aggies announced they will wear throwback adidas uniforms for the game against Kentucky on October 6.
The “’98 Aggies” Primeknit A1 alternate uniform will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1998 Big 12 Championship team. The No. 10 Aggies beat No. 1 Kansas State in double-OT in the Big 12 Championship Game 36-33. Texas A&M finished 11-3 during the season.
The Aggies were down 27-12 to Kansas State before making the massive comeback to eventually hoist the Big 12 Championship trophy.
Most notably, adidas and Texas A&M pay homage to the vintage mesh jerseys worn in the 90s with the new uniforms.
