WATCH: Texas A&M awards Jimbo Fisher trophy for hypothetical future national championship

Texas A&M made a huge splash this offseason, hiring Jimbo Fisher away from Florida State with a huge 10-year, $75 million contract.
However, Fisher will have his work cut out for him to be the best coach in the Texas A&M system, as the Texas A&M Commerce-Lions won the Division II national championship in 2017.
At a recent banquet for the TAMU system, Commerce coach Colby Carthel was awarded a trophy for his title-winning season.
As you can see in the video below, shared on YouTube by The Texas A&M University System, Fisher also received a trophy, but it was one for a hypothetical future title that hasn’t been won yet:
Here’s a closer look at the strange trophy:

This seems more like something Butch Jones would have done at Tennessee, which is never a good sign for anyone.
However, Fisher handled it well. He has a real title from his time at FSU, but he’ll need to win one in College Station to make this trophy look less ridiculous.
