Selecting the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year was an easy choice this year — it’s Alvin Kamara all the way.
The former Tennessee standout running back shared the news Friday morning on his Twitter account with a picture of him holding the award. The NFL will officially announce the award Saturday night during the festivities leading up to Super Bowl LII.
Kamara rushed for 728 yards and 8 touchdowns for the Saints in his debut NFL season. He tacked on another 826 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns. Adding to his impressive accomplishments, he also returned a kick for a touchdown this season. All that was accomplished after being selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
