Change coming? Tennessee reportedly may have eyes on potential new women’s basketball coach

The Tennessee women’s basketball team has never missed an NCAA Tournament, but they had to sweat out the selection process this year, as they were one of the last four teams in the field.
That has many people in Knoxville upset, and coach Holly Warlick could be the one who takes the brunt of that blame.
After taking over for the legendary Pat Summitt, Warlick has done fairly well, but that’s not good enough in Knoxville. Now, it seems a change could be in the works.
According to a report from Gene Henley, it seems the Louisville Cardinals think the Vols could be targeting their coach, Jeff Walz, to eventually replace Warlick:
According to a source, Louisville is prepared to lose women's basketball coach Jeff Walz to Tennessee at the end of the season.
Walz is 330-99 in 12 seasons in Louisville. Has 3 FF, 2 runner-up finishes on resume.
Cards are 31-3, in Sweet 16 against Oregon State Friday.

Louisville is currently a No. 1 seed in the tournament, so it remains to be seen of Walz would actually leave.
Louisville is more successful currently, but Tennessee has the rich tradition. First, of course, a decision needs to be made by the Tennessee administration about Warlick.
