For Tennessee, it all comes down to the final day of the regular season.

Heading into the final game of the season, Tennessee and Auburn sit alone atop the 2018 SEC standings. Both programs have a 12-5 SEC record with only one game remaining before the SEC Tournament begins next week. The two teams met once this season, with Auburn winning the game 94-84.

Meaning if the Vols take care of business at home against Georgia on Saturday and Auburn loses to South Carolina earlier in the day, Tennessee will win its first outright SEC regular-season title since 2008. The Vols have won three in a row while Auburn has dropped two consecutive games and three of the previous four games.

Due to Auburn’s win over Tennessee, if both teams finish with a 13-5 or 12-6 SEC record, the Tigers win the tie-breaker over the Vols for the regular season title.

Auburn hosts South Carolina at 3:30 pm ET Saturday. Tennessee hosts Georgia at 6 pm ET.
