Jalin Hyatt continued his ridiculous season Saturday against Missouri.
Earlier in the game, Hyatt surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving mark on the 2022 season. Later in the third quarter, Hyatt torched Missouri’s defense with a 68-yard untouched touchdown.
To set the drive and touchdown play up, Missouri had just scored to cut Tennessee’s lead to 28-24, and Josh Heupel drew up a beautiful play for Hyatt on 2nd and 3. The Vols receiver was lined up behind the offensive line and essentially coming out of the backfield like an H-back wide open.

Following that catch, Hyatt now has 7 receptions for 146 yards and 1 touchdown. That’s notable because fellow pass catcher Cedric Tillman is out Saturday due to an injury.
Hyatt’s touchdown extended Tennessee’s lead to 35-24.
