Jauan Jennings adds receiving TD to impressive Super Bowl LVIII performance

Jauan Jennings has been a major contributor for the San Franciso 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, and he is building a case to be the MVP if the 49ers finish off a win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the first half, Jennings delivered the first touchdown of the game on a trick play. After receiving a backward pass from Brock Purdy, Jennings threw a pass to Christian McCaffrey for the game’s opening touchdown.
Now, Jennings has a receiving touchdown to his credit. He reeled in a short catch over the middle of the field and fought through contact to get into the end zone and regain the 49ers’ second-half lead.

Jennings is now the second player in Super Bowl history to post a passing touchdown and a receiving touchdown in the same game. Nick Foles with the Philadelphia Eagles was the other.
