Report: Tennessee WR Josh Smith arrested on domestic assault charges
By Adam Spencer
Published:
On Saturday morning, Tennessee senior WR Josh Smith was arrested on domestic violence charges stemming from an altercation with his male roommate.
According to WATE.com, the Volunteer and his roommate, Kennedy Foster, had been drinking when the fight began.
Smith was arrested and taken to jail, where he’s being held on $2,000 bond.
However, one Tennessee reporter said he believes the charges against Smith will be dropped, as he’s been told the Vols’ receiver acted in self-defense:
Am told by people with 1sthand knowledge that @JoshSmith_25 acted in self-defense against a roommate who was belligerent. Bet charges drop
