Tennessee baseball is back in action Friday night against Morehead State after dropping a midweek game against Boston College. So far, the Vols have jumped out to a big lead behind a number of home runs.
The display of power from Tennessee really came through during the 3rd inning with the Vols already holding a 5-0 lead. Zane Denton and Jared Dickey started the frame with back-to-back solo shots with Denton’s home run traveling an impressive 418 feet.
After Griffin Merritt was hit by a pitch, the Vols went back to the power approach. Dylan Dreiling secured a 2-run home run before Kavares Tears followed that up with a solo shot of his own, a huge blast that traveled 420 feet.
