Tennessee DL Aubrey Solomon responds to fake report that he has been declared eligible

An unofficial Tennessee Twitter page had some interesting news on Sunday, reporting that former Michigan DL Aubrey Solomon had been cleared to play immediately for the Vols.
As is sometimes the case in today’s social media world, the report was received as fact by some fans. However, it was quickly learned that there was no basis for the report and Solomon’s status is still up in the air.
After the report broke, Solomon quickly responded to the since-deleted tweet, calling out the Twitter page for having no credibility:
So, the wait continues to see if the former 5-star defensive lineman will get to play for the Vols this fall or not. The NCAA doesn’t make decisions very quickly, though, so there’s no way to know how long the wait will last.
