Tennessee lands commitment from elite 2020 wide receiver out of Gators’ backyard

Leonard Manuel plays high school football in Ocala, Fla. the heart of Gator country. While Manuel’s high school, Vanguard, is only 35 miles from UF campus, he has decided he’s taking his talents to Rocky Top.

Manuel announced his pledge to the Volunteers in a note posted on his Twitter account.

Despite being a 2020 prospect, Manuel has already drawn an impressive offer list which includes Florida State, Miami, Michigan and USC, as well as Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri and South Carolina.

Manuel, only a high school freshman, has measurements that would be impressive for any incoming college freshman wideout (6-foot-4, 205 pounds). The Tennessee staff must certainly be excited about his potential for even more growth before coming to Knoxville.
