Tennessee picks up 2020 commitment from East St. Louis OG

Jeremy Pruitt and his staff picked up commitment No. 7 for Tennessee’s 2020 recruiting class on Friday.

Javontez Spraggins, an offensive guard out of East St. Louis, Illinois, announced he has pledged to the Volunteers via his Twitter account. Spraggins, listed at 6-3, 336 pounds, is a 3-star recruit on 247Sports and ranked the No. 16 Illinois product, No. 53 offensive guard and No. 882 prospect overall nationally in the class. His recruiting profile shows 11 scholarship offers, including Missouri and Illinois. The Vols’ 2020 class ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 36 nationally, per the 247Sports Composite.

Spraggins appears to be quite firm in his pledge, declaring himself “746% Committed” to UT. His highlights can be viewed below:
