WATCH: How was this bush league hit by a Florida player on Tennessee QB Jarrett Guarantano not called?
By Keith Farner
Published:
Tennessee’s offense had plenty of trouble Saturday night without having to deal with cheap shots from the Florida defense.
But that’s exactly what happened in the second half when Jarrett Guarantano was hit late by Florida’s Cece Jefferson as Jefferson rolled into Guarantano’s legs. Guarantano was tended to by three trainers, and then went to the injury tent on the sideline. He was replaced by Keller Chryst with about four minutes left in the third quarter.
Before he left the game, Guarantano was 7-for-18 passing for 163 yards with two interceptions.
