WATCH: Jeremy Pruitt flashes comedic side in funny insurance commercial

Jeremy Pruitt usually stays serious when he’s meeting with the media and discussing the upcoming season. But if you’re watching TV in Tennessee, you may catch another side of the first-year Vols coach.

Pruitt appeared in a funny commercial Farm Bureau Insurance alongside “Farmer Charlie,” a character who is frequently seen in advertisements for the Tennessee-based insurance agency.

When Pruitt and “Farmer Charlie” meet for the first time in this latest commercial, they quickly find out they have a lot in common, including their affinity for the Vols.

Then, the two partake in several activities — playing catch, hitting the weight room and even playing some ping pong.

Pruitt is entering his first season as Tennessee coach after spending the last two years as Alabama’s defensive coordinator. He makes his Vols coaching debut in the season opener against No. 17 West Virginia on Sept. 1.
