The Tennessee Volunteers are now 5-5 on the season after suffering a home loss to No. 1 Georgia on Saturday evening.

But, there’s no reason to despair on Rocky Top, as the Vols still have 2 games left to try to earn a bowl berth.

So, what does ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) think of the Vols’ chances to pick up a sixth win? Per FPI, the Vols’ last 2 games are incredibly winnable:

  • Nov. 20 vs. South Alabama — 93.8% chance to win
  • Nov. 27 vs. Vanderbilt — 97.3% chance to win

So, there you have it. It would be pretty surprising if the Vols didn’t make it to a bowl game this year.

Both of their remaining games are winnable, so it’s fair for fans to expect a 7-5 record by the end of the regular season.
