Texas shatters attendance record for game vs. No. 1 Alabama

Texas outdid its attendance record by roughly 2,000 with a record crowd 105,213 fans in Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas on Saturday afternoon as the Longhorns face the No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.
And there’s no doubt that fans should be pleased with their decision to show out the way they have, considering Texas has not only kept the game much closer than anticipated but also holds the 13-10 lead at the end of the third quarter.
It’s not all been easy going for Texas, which hasn’t been absolutely impeccable on offense but has certainly give Alabama some issues to a degree on either front — especially the Crimson Tide offense that is led by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young.
It will be interesting to see how this one plays out in the end, but it will definitely go down as one of the most attention-grabbing games of the weekend.
Record crowd of 105,213 here today at DKR Stadium. Beat previous record by almost 2,000.
