Vanderbilt adds to 2024 recruiting class with commitment from EDGE out of Florida

Vanderbilt has picked up commitment No. 18 for its 2024 recruiting class. Clark Lea’s program has gone down into Florida for its latest verbal pledge.
Mason Carter from Jacksonville is the newest addition to the Commodores’ 2024 class. Carter took to social media on Saturday to announce his plans to college football on the West End.

Out of Baldwin High School, Carter is listed as measuring 6-5, 200 pounds. He is rated 3-stars, the No. 103 edge defender and No. 201 prospect out of the Sunshine State for the Class of 2024. He does not yet have an industry-generated 247Sports Composite rating and score.
Carter has picked up 17 scholarship offers during his recruitment. In June, Carter tweeted of visiting Vanderbilt, Minnesota and Rutgers.
