Vanderbilt lands commitment from 2019 CB out of South Carolina

Vanderbilt picked up a season-opening victory over Middle Tennessee on Saturday, beating their foes convincingly, 35-7.
That momentum carried over into the recruiting world, as the Commodores landed a commitment on Monday evening.
As you can see below, 3-star 2019 CB Jaylen Mahoney announced on Twitter that he was committing to the Commodores:

According to the 247Sports composite, Mahoney is the No. 131 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 21 overall recruit from the state of South Carolina.
The Commodores now have 14 players in their 2019 class. Prior to Mahoney’s commitment, the class ranked No. 13 in the SEC and No. 54 nationally, per 247Sports.
